Consider the Lilies of the Field or the Gladiolus, or the Clarkia

Consider the Lilies of the field, how they grow; Organic, Fragrant Lilies.
Consider the Lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you,
even Solomon in all his glory, was not arrayed like one of these. - Matthew: 6:28-29

One of the reasons, which I garden, is to have the honor of working hand in hand with God to bring forth His creation. My portion is small in contribution, but hopefully I am acquiring the skills necessary that He will permit me to tend to His gardens in Heaven someday.

It is a wonderful time of reflection and prayer, as I water and cultivate the earth in which He gave me stewardship. And today, this post is simply to share some of the beauty with you. I grow a lot of various flowers between my vegetables and fruit. They add beauty, scent, and attract the pollinators to my garden. The hummingbirds are going crazy for my Lilies and Gladiolus blooms. My youngest daughter Bethany, exudes excitement over each bloom, much like myself.

Every year she plants at least one new flower for us to try out. Every year she usually grows Zinnias. This year, she did not plant any, but we have several coming up anyhow that have self-seeded from previous years. Kind of like the allysum, violas, marigolds, and snapdragons. This year one of her beauties are Clarkia. We did not know what to expect, but the beauty is all worth it!

Thank you for joining me in the garden. I've enjoyed our time together!
